On a second look, though, there’s one bit that feels weird—the linework on the woman is perhaps a little too fine in contrast to the... elder god? In principle this should work, and does, to give a strong sense of scale to the whole thing, but I think because she is the only part of the image that has such fine linework, it feels like she’s been pasted in from somewhere else. What might help is if a few other elements (maybe the clouds?) were equally as detailed.
Or if you could somehow simplify the woman just a tad, without losing the nice scale effect you’ve got too much.
Otherwise awesome. Loving the subtle gradients and your colour choices are top notch as usual~
Yeah I was zoomed in heaps on the girl when I was laying it out, so there is way too much detail there.
I tried balancing it out with the clouds, but more detail on them messed with the idea I had. I'm pretty happy with it over all :o)
