Love love that striated fur on the foxes, and the fade to finer detail on the hatching in the sky—but the hatching on the blanket doesn’t quite feel like it fits. Too sharp, somehow, and not curvy and blankety enough.
You are also colour master. Do you just chooe the colours on the fly, or do you deliberate over them for a long time?

Jean -It's all digital, much easier than doing a real woodcut!
Joe -thanks, it took me a while to work out what you meant by 'blanket'... it's meant to be the ground but I see what you mean. i wanted it to look rough but I could have just used the same hatching technique from the sky to round it off. As for colours, it's a bit of both. I see an image vaguely first but it's not til I start drawing that I decide.
