Jackal and Crow

Samples from a series of illustrations I created on commission for a PhD linguistics research project at Melbourne University.

The brief required clean images which subjects will be shown out of order and asked to arrange in a story. It was a lot of fun bringing out the characters of the animals in this variation of a classic tale. The Aesop version involves a fox and crow, and some delicious cheese:
